Taft Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit, is dedicated to enriching education at Taft Grade School (K-8) in Lockport, IL. Through generous private donations, we fund programs, technology, and resources that inspire learning and help students thrive. Our mission is to equip every student with the tools they need for success, building a better future for our children and our community.

SECURITY FENCING
December 2024 - As part of our commitment to school safety at Taft, we installed security fencing around the north and south sides of the school. This fencing protects our students in many ways. It also protects our investments, such as the new playground that was installed last year. We thank Taft Foundation ambassador Rocky Colella for the swift installation of our security fencing.
We applied for another $5000 STEM grant from CITGO!
