STEM EDUCATION: SkyDome returning to Taft January 23rd!
The Skydome inflatable Planetarium is BACK! Updated with more variety and intrigue, Skydome will be back on January 23rd! All Taft students will be able to participate at no cost.
$3,600 in Teacher mini grants provided since August 2025!
Taft Foundation provided Special Education with alternative seating, sensory equipment, and other adaptive equipment for enhancing learning for those with special needs. Xylophone and glockenspiel stands were provided to properly hold essential equipment for music education.
As part of our commitment to supporting arts in the school, Taft Foundation has been able to provide art instruction during the school day for grades K-5. These 10-week courses teach art curriculum through a variety of topics and mediums. This year's Epic Landmarks series teaches students about amazing places like Stonehenge, Machu Picchu, and the Taj Mahal, Instructors and supplies are provided at no cost to the students or Taft District 90.
We are grateful to have received a $3,000 grant from Citgo to help fuel our STEM program!
